The mission to find my imaginary monster

Once upon a time there was a monster his name was DJ he had two heads and his skin color was blue and yellow mixed together. He had plans to go to the monster ball in a castle in Fresno.

He  walked through the enchanted forest in New Zealand  he was flying  through  but got stuck in the cotton candy tree and fell in the chocolate sink hole then he was yelling for help luckily a hunter named Tyrone was nearby so he could hear him yell loud so ran as fast as he could threw the liquorice twigs and reached where he was he could see DJ was sinking so he helped him by pulling him with all his might and DJ was free them DJ looked at his watch and saw that his was going to be so late .


Then DJ asked Tyrone if he wanted  to go with him to the ball and Tyrone said yes please. So DJ picked him up by his claws and said let’s go they made it and became best friends forever .Here is a picture of him.

The botanic gardens

Yesterday we went to the Botanic Gardens in Manurewa.  I saw plants, trees, flowers then we got into groups.  When we were walking, I heard bees buzzing and birds singing. I also could smell  heaps  of flowers that smelled perfumed.  

My favorite bit at the botanic gardens was when we went to the cherry blossom tree. I took heaps of photos because it was beautiful.

My favorite plant was the magnolia because it was big and pretty. My favorite Sculpture was the lady which was the first one we saw because was dancing and I love  dancing. It was fun at the Botanic Gardens.

Dear Auckland Zoo, The Warehouse, and Zoofari Team

I would like to thank your team for paying for the bus and our tickets. My favorite parts were when we went and saw the hippopotamus, Faith, and when we went through the meerkat tunnel. I learnt that a several can jump about 3 meters in the air and that a hippopotamus can open its mouth really wide.

It was a fun day and I wish to could go again.  Thank you so much again.

Dear Soldier Toma,

My name Jozlo . I am Samoan and I am 9 years old. I am writing to thank you for risking your life for my family, me and New Zealand. We are all thankful to have a soldier like you keeping us all safe. My family means alot to me and now I can go to school safely with no people harming me. My friends are Samoan and Maori and  they are very loud. Thank you for everything you did for me and family. In my family is my sister Alio then my brothers called Tyrone, Keron, Frank, Marcus, Kevin and Willie. My nieces and nephews are called Arianna, Justin, Kingston, Jerome, Deaveon and Shakaia. I love them all so much.

My name is Jozlo and I am 9 years old. I am half Samoan and half Tongan. My mum’s name is Anna and my dad’s name is Seu. I have 1 sister and 6 brothers.

My dogs name is Onax and my puppys name is Romeo.

My learning goal is to become a confident reader and to write exciting and interesting words for writing.

My favourite subject at school is reading because I know it helps me understand how the world works. I am good at getting ideas for my story and plans.
