Genomics

For genomics, we had to do a little research, and answer some questions. and pair up some chromosomes from today, sort them out into groups of 2 and find out why our chromosomes we're 2 different colours, if you would like to find out more about us pairing chromosomes with each-other. then tell me and I maybe do some more research about pairing chromosomes.

Genomics Hui

Today we had the opportunity to host two schools from the area, One of the schools were Glenbrae, Our other visitors were Glen Innes. We were all separated into groups, Our group was made out of 9 girls we had a lot of fun we learnt a lot about each other.

Siva samoa

So room 1 girls learnt about Siva Samoa or Ma'ulu'ulu we used everyday actions to come up with our own Siva Samoa and we took only one day to make and sort out.

Attitude talk

Yesterday we had an attitude talk we were spoken to by Toni he told us about the different things about technology and how it sometimes can be tough to handle. Most people struggle with cyber bullying and also being hacked. Did you know that  the internet has been around for 25 years?.

Is candy better than chocolate?

Is chocolate better than candy?

For me personally i think that chocolate is better than candy why you ask?.

Because chocolate has a way better taste than candy some people prefer candy because it doesn't give  you pimples but that is a myth, Girls opinion if i'm right when it is that time of the month they some how crave chocolate and when we feel a bit down the thing to eat is................ CHOCOLATE. 

BEDMAS intro

Today we did a slideshow which taught us how to solve BEDMAS questions, it was pretty tough but we got through it.

This week in room one we are learning to find the area and perimeter of different types of shapes and we were given a task to complete it all.

This week in tech we made chicken wraps, they were so yum we put many things in it like tomatoes,cheese, chicken, lettuce, mayo. My partner was Tatiana, we had fun together making chicken wraps.

DIMIC (maths work)
